An educator, entrepreneur, and community leader whose life was defined by perseverance, hard work, and service. Born in Falewas, Nepal, to Ragu Bir Shrestha, he married Surya Maya Joshi and later moved to Bhadrapur, Jhapa. He remained a principal of a School, and a political activist before venturing into entrepreneurship. With modest savings accumulated together with his wife, he started a small rice mill in Prithivinagar, Jhapa. Through years of dedication and gradual growth, the business expanded into a small factory in Bhadrapur, initially operated from their own premises, and later, together with his son, into a larger-scale factory at Jhapa Chowk, Ganesh Agro.

Beyond his entrepreneurial journey, he is an active contributor to the community. He served as President of the Jhapa Chamber of Industry and Commerce and was actively involved in organizations such as the Lions Club as President. He also is an executive manager in Star Tea Industry Pvt. Ltd, and Riddhi Ganesh Tea Estate.
